My ficus randomly stop growing. The shoots remain that 1inch size and refuse to turn into leaf for more than 2 months already but everything is healthy. Why? Good lighting, adequate water, no root rot or root bound, no leaf browning or falling. I don’t understand her.

I have a variegated string of hearts that I had under it's own grow light (a knockoff aerogarden with just the lights going, SOH in a small pot just set on the top surface) and it FLOURISHED. Nodes were super close together, leaves were getting fairly large and full, absolutely stunning pink colors coming through. A few months later I put the aerogarden thing away and moved it to my plant cabinet, and all the new growth since has been anemic and leggy. I'm going to chop and prop the new growth and put it back under a bright grow light. These little guys can handle much much more light than most of my other houseplants and even seem to thrive in it.

I had played this video on loop, thank you for the good work and good cause. I live in New York, zone 7, and I leave my olive tree on my patio during winter. There are cold hardy varieties that will take the cold out here.

Thank you for sharing this! My old rubber tree got stressed and dropped a lot of its lower leaves and I've been wanting to propagate some of it just in case and to create new plant babies from my original guy. You make this look so easy, thank you!
